Men and women

We want to disciple men to a lasting relationship with our Lord so that we can become the true men—husbands, fathers, and sons—that God wants us to be. First EFC can help connect you with other men to help form Christ-like character and promote healthy spiritual accountability. "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17).

Likewise, we desire for women to have Christ-centered relationships with other women so that our "...hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ." (Colossians 2:2). We have women's Bible studies, special events, and times of fellowship. We would love to have you join us!

If you would like more information about discipleship and fellowship opportunities for men and women, please contact the church office.

Senior Adults

Our "Senior Saints" gather regularly for studies and occasionally for other activities to build friendships and be encouraged in Christ. We also pray with and for one another. We'd love for you to come join us and find the friendships we enjoy! For more information about "Senior Saints", please contact Jim McCombs through the church office.

God's heart is for the nations (Revelation 7:9-10). And First Evangelical Free Church has a heart for the nations, too! Specifically, we love to connect with international students and others who find themselves away from "home" and in the United States. We want to extend hospitality and a helping hand, and share the love that God has poured out upon us in Christ.

For over 30 years, members of First EFC have hosted a monthly "International Dinner" potluck that is open to anyone in Las Cruces who'd like to come. We typically have at least a dozen nationalities represented, and we gather to share food and appreciate the diversity of our cultures. Someone also gives a presentation about their home country for the rest of us to enjoy. For more information and upcoming dates, contact the church office.
